From Omar's desk - a recommended read for this week is: Misbehaving - The Making of Behavioral Economics by Richard H. Thaler.
Why? This book challenges the traditional assumptions in economics that humans act rationally at all times, and presents the implications this has on individuals, leaders and policy makers. Thaler, a Nobel Laureate, does this in a very accessible manner, presenting a myriad of experiments he and others have run at the intersection of human psycology and economy. This book also covers how, empowered with these findings, we can make smarter decisions.
