My old approach to productivity:
-Working unreasonably long hours -Being determined to tick off everything on my to-do list -Gauging my success by the sheer volume of work I completed
My new approach to productivity:
-Prioritizing breaks and personal time -Aligning my efforts with strategic priorities -Evaluating success by the impact and outcomes my work delivers
My approach to productivity was leading me to burnout.
I constantly felt exhausted. Pressure was a relentless companion. Satisfaction was elusive, always just out of reach.
Now, I'm focused and effective. I am able to think strategically. Most importantly, I feel more fulfilled and balanced.
PS: Success and fulfillment begin with how you define productivity.
